How it works

Three steps, one hour, done.

  1. Tell us the day you need back.

Pick from the menu or let a nurse read your intake and choose for you. The intake is free and takes a few minutes.

  2. Pick your chair, or your couch.

A lounge slot here in Terrell, or a nurse at your home, office or hotel. Same-week is normal.

  3. Sit still for about an hour.

The nurse places the line, stays with you the whole time, and you walk out with the rest of your day.

The part that matters

It is a medical procedure. We run it like one.

Licensed staff, physician oversight, and a screening before anything is placed.

Licensed nurses

Every infusion is started by an NC-licensed registered nurse with IV certification.

Physician directed

Protocols are reviewed by a medical director, and a provider is on call for every appointment.

Single use, every time

All supplies are single use and pharmacy sourced. Nothing is reused. Not a line, not a bag.

Screened first

A short intake confirms IV hydration is right for you before anything is placed. Sometimes the answer is no, and we say so.

Meet your nurse

Jenna Lutz

Founder · BSN, RN, CCRN

  • 17 years in emergency medicine
  • Registered nurse since 2013
  • National Registry Paramedic
  • Officer and trauma nurse, Air National Guard

A Charlotte native who has called Lake Norman home since 2005, Jenna brings a heart for service and 17 years of emergency medicine experience to Freedom IV. Growing up in an entrepreneurial family shaped her work ethic and planted the seeds for business ownership. Her healthcare journey began at just 18 as an EMT, working her way through nursing school and building the foundation for a career dedicated to caring for others.

Since becoming a registered nurse in 2013, Jenna has cared for patients in emergency departments, surgical trauma intensive care, and civilian flight nursing. In 2019, she expanded that commitment to serve through military flight nursing, deploying in 2022. After completing her civilian medevac career in 2024, she served in another active duty tour as the Executive Officer for the 145th Airlift Wing, then returned to the ER, where she continues to care for her community. She continues to serve as an officer and trauma nurse in the Air National Guard. As a National Registry Paramedic and a clinical expert in high acuity nursing, she combines extensive clinical experience with a calm, compassionate approach that helps people feel comfortable, heard, and cared for.

Through Freedom IV, Jenna brings together her entrepreneurial roots, clinical expertise, and passion for helping people feel their best. She believes exceptional care starts with a personal connection and takes pride in getting to know the person behind every visit.

Outside of nursing and business ownership, Jenna’s favorite roles are wife, daughter, dog mom, and “Gemma” to her stepson’s children. Time with family keeps her grounded and reminds her why she does what she does.

Questions

Straight answers.

The questions we hear most.

What does it cost?

From $109 for the Soldier Solution to $219 for Build Your Own Freedom, and first-time clients get the Soldier Solution for $99. Add a vitamin or nutrient for $30, or a medication for $35. Vitamin injections are $40 to $45. The menu price is the price you pay.

Is it safe?

For healthy adults, IV hydration is well tolerated when a trained licensed nurse places and watches it. Everyone completes a health screening first, and our protocols are physician directed. It is not right for everyone, and we will tell you at intake if it is not right for you.

Who should not get a drip?

We cannot treat anyone under 18, anyone who is pregnant, or anyone with congestive heart failure or end-stage kidney disease. Your intake covers your full health history and medications, and if a drip is not right for you, we will say so.

What happens at my first visit?

It starts with a consultation about your health goals, then a short intake covering your medical history and medications. A nurse checks your vitals, you pick an arm, and the drip runs for 45 to 60 minutes. We check your vitals again before you go, and we follow up with you the next day.

Does it hurt?

A quick pinch. The needle is out within about five seconds, leaving a soft, thin tube in place for the drip.

How long does it take?

Most drips run 45 to 60 minutes. Build Your Own Freedom can run longer depending on what goes into it. Read, work, or sleep through it.

Are there side effects?

Most people have none. If anything feels off during or after your drip, tell your nurse or call us straight away.

When will I feel it?

Most people feel a difference within 24 hours. How long it lasts depends on the drip and on you.

How do I know which drip is right for me?

Your nurse helps you choose at your consultation, either from the menu or as a drip built for you.

How should I prepare?

Drink plenty of water beforehand, because well-hydrated veins make the IV easier to place. Afterwards there are no restrictions unless your nurse tells you otherwise.

When are you open?

Monday to Saturday, 9am to 5pm, by appointment. Please book at least 24 hours ahead.

Do you come to my part of the lake?

Yes, and anywhere else in North Carolina: Terrell, Denver, Sherrills Ford, Mooresville, Troutman, Huntersville, Cornelius, Davidson and beyond. Travel is $75 within 30 miles of our Terrell lounge and $125 farther out, plus $50 for visits after 7pm. Gold Star members travel free within 50 miles, and Silver Star members save 25%. Book at least 24 hours ahead.

Can you do a group?

Yes. Bachelorette parties, weddings, corporate wellness days, private events. One nurse looks after up to six guests, and bigger groups get more nurses. Ask us for a group quote.

Insurance, HSA or FSA?

IV hydration is elective and self pay, so we do not take insurance. Many clients use HSA or FSA funds. Check with your plan administrator and we will hand you an itemized receipt.

How often should I come?

Up to once a week. Some come monthly for maintenance, some only before travel or after a hard week. A nurse will tell you honestly what cadence makes sense, including none.
